In the interest of public safety, you should have staff who will hand sign / whistle door closure quickly so that people know before hand that they have missed the train. And these staff will also alert if somebody gets stuck between the doors.

Why don't you observe your competitor (yes, the Blue Line) and come up with your SOPs?
