Sub: Diversion Pipe Liene required on Mithagar Road

I am senior citizen and the Managing Committee member of Vitthal Apartment CHS Ltd, Mithagar Road, Off Kanderpada Metro Station, Near Dahisar Dmart.

During Kanderpada Metro Station pillar piling work in year 2019, the MMRDA contractor did not take cognisance of the underground sewerage line 30ft deep and poured excessive cement by containers thus severely damaging the sewerage line. The cement has broken the sewer line and entered the chambers obstructing the sewerage flow.

As per recent discussion with the Managing Commitee of Vitthal Apartment CHS with JE and SE Sewerage operation (SO) Borivali Division near Don Bosco School, the underground sewerage line is completely submerged below Line 2A Kanderpada Metro Station Pillars foundation and Lift to concourse area, hence it is not possible to lay a new sewer line to replace the damaged line .

Due to this foul smelling sewerage is overflowing in Vitthal Apartment CHS Ltd., Mithagar Road. The filthy sewerage is entering building's storm water drain (SWD) resulting in health hazard of dengue mosquito for senior citizens of Vitthal Apartment & two neighbouring buildings Rock Castle and Florence whose sewerage flows through our premises.

Since the damaged underground sewer can not be reconstructed JE SO Borivali Division planned a diversion line to bypass the damaged pipeline at Dahisar DMart.

We request your co-operation to resolve this chronic issue at the earliest.
