About IDDP :
Building information modelling (BIM) is a process supported by various tools, technologies and contracts involving the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of projects/ places.
The Integrated Digital Delivery Platform (IDDP) represents a transformative approach to managing Metro and Infrastructure construction projects, offering significant improvements over traditional workflows. By leveraging the advanced capabilities of CDE, 5D BIM, GIS, drone technology, and ERP integration. MMRDA will achieve enhanced data management, improved collaboration, better project visualization, efficient monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. IDDP consists Detailed Design, Conceptual Design, Analysis, Documentation, Fabrication, Construction logistic, O&M, Renovation etc. This comprehensive platform will ensure that Metro and Infrastructure construction projects in Mumbai are executed with greater efficiency, accuracy, and success.

Key Components :

  • BIM (Building Information Modeling): Process for managing digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of infrastructure projects.
  • GIS Integration:
  • Visual and geo-tagged information of land, property, and utilities related to project
  • Ability to create 3D models with X, Y, and Z coordinates.
  • Dashboards for project management and citizen services.

Summary :

  • Cost Management: Real-time and accurate cost estimation with integrated budget data and 3D models.
  • Schedule Visualization: 5D BIM helps correlate physical progress with the timeline, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Rich data sets allow informed decision-making from conceptualization to maintenance.
  • Clash Detection: Automatic updates in cost and scheduling upon design changes, ensuring efficient resource use.
