Kharbav Integrated Business Park (KIBP)
Urban Development Department, GoM vide Notification No. TPB‑4321/CR-130/2021/UD-11 dated 25/09/2025 and Corrigendum dated 03/12/2025 appointed MMRDA as Special Planning Authority (SPA) for Kharbav Integrated Business Park (KIBP) for an area of approximately 58.52 sq. km including 09 villages of Bhiwandi taluka (Kharbav, Malodi, Paye, Payegav, Khardi, Palivali, Firangpada, Gane, Brahmangaon) and 01 village Vasai taluka (Nagle).
Subsequently, Urban Development Department, GoM vide Notification No. TPS‑1226/1226/468/CR-51/26/Kharbav/UD-12 dated 19/05/2026 has included additional 34 adjoining revenue villages (Area 117.61 sq.km) in Kharbav Integrated Business Park (KIBP). Out of these 06 revenue villages from Bhiwandi Tahsil falls under the Regional Plan area of Mumbai Metropolitan Region admeasuring about 44.17 sq.km and 28 villages falls under Bhiwandi Surrounding Notified Area admeasuring about 73.44 sq.km
The total Area of KIBP is 176.13 sq.km which includes 44 villages.
